PiΤΤa Gate

Hi there!

When our two Greek soldiers were captivated by the Turks here in Greece (in March of 2018, if my memory doesn't fail me) a movie called "Λούφα και Παραλλαγή:Σειρήνες στη στεριά" was aired here in Greece.

In the movie there was a scene that was making a notion to Pizza Gate (the huge scandal that involved rings or pedophiles in which there were Greeks also involved in). Of course, the artists "twisted" the title a little bit to not make it so obvious to the random eye and the forgetful viewer(s).

Here is the exact cut-scene:

Any comments and thoughts on this???...

The Only Person That Went On Strike

photo:  Florian Klauer Hi! Today we will write about when approximately a graduate student lands his first job as a teacher. The time is  estimated to 3-5 years after graduation on average . What does this graduate do in the meantime? Work as a tutor? A cashier? Make a career move? Open his own business? Work as waiter/tress? Change their career path? Do voluntary and unpaid work? Go into higher studies? The answer for me was/is simple. I would not wait for private companies or schools to hire me! Neither for public schools! I had sent my curriculum vitae to EVERY private school and they would not even bother to answer me or even call me for an interview.  I tried one year. No result. I tried the next year. Same. Well, guess what!  After the 2nd try I NEVER ever sent them again my CV.  "Why?" you may ask. Because I will not beg for a f** job. I am not the type of person who will lick a(r)sses to get ahead in life....

Summer Holiday

photo: pexels After a draining year, the school term has come to an end. Now it's finally vacation and me-time. Off to the closest beach and off to somewhere adventurous and exotic we go... ... leaving all our worries behind and trying to relax and enjoy ourselves . Good company and a pleasant, easy-reading book is all we need for now. See you next year, alligators! Au revoir (our friends)!

Why I don't post my Teacher Achievements

photo: Miesha Moriniere We live in a modern world where everything is falling apart. We live in a society where we witness constant and everyday attacks on core values and principles. On our ideals. When everyone is looking for the opportunity to attack another based on political correctness or their beliefs I will not give them any more ground for interaction! That's why I don't post my achievements and especially "teacher moments" or (my) students online. Why should I? To brag? To show others that I am proud of them? To showcase all the gifts I have received from them and their parents (and I can reassure you I have received many)? To show off all the drawings they have given me? (which I also have many of) Is this what will make me a good teacher? Will online social media posting draw me into the category of exemplar teachers? Absolutely not.. ! Posting my whole (teacher) life on the social media? Who gives a $h!T about what I do as a teacher? I ...
